Medusa Pasta is a brand created to show the beauty of Italian cooking. Pasta is meant to be simple and elegant, so my goal was to create a personality that captures this.

 

The head of Medusa was used to bring a sense of ancient gracefulness to an already well known food. I was drawn to her iconic hair and how it could be turned into pasta noodles. For the final sketch I combined a classical Greek inspired face with thick spaghetti strands. From there, the brand had its direction.
